The 11th POWER & ENERGY KENYA 2024 comes to Kenya from the 26th to 28th of June 2024 at the Kenyatta International Convention Center, in Nairobi. It is the largest exhibition held in the East African region for the Power & Energy and Solar industry. The event will be inaugurated by Dr. Eng. John M. Mativo, Managing Director and CEO of KETRACO (Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited), the backbone of the power industry in Kenya. The exhibition is the only trade event in the region showcasing the widest range of products, equipment and machinery for the energy sector in East Africa.
The energy sector in Kenya is a vital part of the country's economy and development. It involves the production, transmission, distribution, and consumption of various forms of energy, such as electricity, petroleum, and renewable energy.
The exhibition will be hosting exhibitors from 22 countries who will have products on display. The exhibition is set to showcase various tools, machinery and products from around the world including countries like China, India, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Austria, Zambia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Oman, Sri Lanka, Italy, Taiwan(ROC) and the United Arab Emirates.

The exhibition is supported by the local energy industry and trade bodies including Ministry of Energy and Petroleum of the Government of Kenya. The sector also has various organizations operating in support and are key to the promotion of the industry, such as the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA), the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (KETRACO), the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (Kenya Power), the Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen), and the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC).
