The dates for the 11th POWER & ENERGY KENYA 2024 has now been announced. The trade fair will be held from the 08th to the 10th of May 2024 at the Kenyatta International Convention Center, in Nairobi. The international tradefair is the largest exhibition held in the East African region for the Power and Energy industry. The exhibition is the only trade event in the region showcasing the widest range of products, equipment and machinery for the energy sector in East Africa.
The energy sector in Kenya is a vital part of the country's economy and development. It involves the production, transmission, distribution, and consumption of various forms of energy, such as electricity, petroleum, and renewable energy.
The exhibition will be hosting exhibitors from 22 countries who will have products on display. The exhibition is set to showcase tools, machinery and products like Power Factor Correction Equipment / LV & MV Components, Lead Battery and Lithium Battery, Solar Inverter, Hybrid Inverter, MPPT Solar Charge Controller, Switch and Socket, Distribution Box, Circuit Breaker, Extension Cord, Ventilation Fan, Lighting, Testing Equipment including Substation Transformer, High Voltage Switch, Rechargeable LED Torch, LED SMD Torch, Rechargeable LED Lantern, Transformer oil Filtration Machine /Nitrogen Plant /Hydro Cyclone Separator, Power Back up Products, Solar Products, Energy Storage Systems, Electrical Wiring devices and accessories Power, Control & Automation Solutions, Wires, Power Cables, Fuel Oils, Paraffinic Oils, Bitumen, Asphaltene and other derivatives, Underground Aboveground Fuel Tanks, Mobile Fuel Stations, Tankers, Trailer, Ground Tanks, Silos, Organoclay, Petrochemical Products, Pressure Vessels Include Semi-Trailers, Tanks and Piping and much more.
The sector also has various organization operating in support and are key to the promotion of the industry, such as the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA), the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (KETRACO), the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (Kenya Power), the Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen), and the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC).
The exhibition is supported by the local energy industry and trade bodies including Ministry of Energy and Petroleum of the Government of Kenya, Bureau Veritas, Kenya International Freight and Warehousing Association (KIFWA), Kenya Green Building Society (KGBS), OLA Energy Kenya Limited.
