The price of super hydrocarbon can drop in Sh9.33, diesel by Sh10.04 and hydrocarbon by Sh3.52 a litre.
The burdened Kenyans have a reason to smile when the Energy regulative Commission proclaimed a pointy call in fuel costs starting time of day.
"The costs area unit inclusive of the worth added Tax at eight per cent in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2018," said ERC.
This means that in national capital, a liter of super hydrocarbon can retail at Sh104.21, diesel Sh102.24 and hydrocarbon Sh101.7 for ensuing one month.
ERC attributed the large drop to the typical landed price of foreign hydrocarbon that reduced by fourteen.87 per cent, diesel by fourteen.71 and hydrocarbon by eight.62 per cent.
In Kisumu, a liter of hydrocarbon can retail at Sh105.73, diesel Sh103.94 and Sh103.4.
In Mombasa, a liter of hydrocarbon can sell at Sh101.6, diesel Sh99.63 and hydrocarbon Sh99.09.
ERC can review the fuel costs next on 14th February.
