The East Africa-focused oil and gas company, Wentworth, has informed to receive the payments during July 2018 for gas sales generated from the Mnazi Bay Concession in Tanzania, totaling US$3.7mn
The company said this during providing its payment update to the shareholders.
Payments were received from both Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) and Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) for one month’s gas sales for each company.
Wentworth has also reported that the gross production volumes during July 2018 from the Mnazi Bay gas field averaged 90mn scf per day.
The company is a publicly traded independent oil and gas firm, focussing on exploration, production, and appraisal opportunities and large-scale gas monetization initiatives, all in the Rovuma Delta Basin of coastal southern Tanzania and northern Mozambique.
